Led by Dr Maggie Kessler OBE, 2M Co-Owner, we were delighted once again to welcome our children, along with guest children from families across the chemical industry, to 2M House for a fun and inspiring Kids’ Science Day.
This year’s programme featured a series of interactive, hands-on activities delivered by passionate 2M STEM ambassadors. Each activity was designed to spark curiosity, build confidence, and show how exciting and accessible science can be.
As a cornerstone of 2M’s STEM outreach efforts, Kids’ Science Day reflects our long-standing commitment to helping young people understand and access future careers in science. Through engaging experiments and demonstrations, children explored molecules, chemistry, and the role science plays in everyday life.
By meeting our dedicated STEM ambassadors, the children experienced first-hand the diverse range of people and roles within the scientific workplace—helping to challenge gender stereotypes and broaden their understanding of what a scientist can look like.
A big thank you to Dr Maggie Kessler OBE and to the wonderful, dedicated 2M STEM Ambassadors who made this year’s Science Day truly special.
