ON 28th October, 2022, 2M Group of Companies and Banner Chemicals celebrated our annual Bring Your Child to Work Science Day!
Led by Dr Maggie Kessler OBE, co-owner of 2M and Banner Chemical’s Export Director, we welcomed 30 budding young scientists, age 5-16, to our head office in Runcorn for the day.
Children and young people conducted hands on Science experiments and watched demonstrations, led by staff from Banner Chemicals.
The Mayor and Mayoress of Halton, Councillor Mark Dennett and Mrs Andrea spent the day with us, conducting Science experiments and helping us learn!
The day was part of the 2M STEM outreach programme, which reaches circa 550 children and young people every year. The award winning programme aims to make a career in Chemistry accessible to young people through science demonstrations, talks, career advice and work placements.
