Banner Chemical Group manufactures AdBlue®

Banner Chemical Group are now producing AdBlue® under VDA licence to ISO 22241 standard at its wholly owned facilities at Middlesbrough and Leicester.

What is AdBlue®?

AdBlue® is a colourless, odourless, synthetically produced, 32.5 percent solution of Automotive Grade Urea in demineralized water. AdBlue® is non-toxic.

Why AdBlue®?

Since 1992, European legislation has required lower particulate (PM) and Nitrous Oxide (NOX) emissions from on highway diesel engines. To help meet the even lower levels of NOX emissions set with the introduction of Euro 4 in October 2006, OEM’s introduced selective catalytic reduction (SCR) to nearly all on highway commercial vehicles. This technology requires an aqueous urea solution called AdBlue.

AdBlue is available in 2 litre bottles, 10 and 18 litre cans, 210 drums, 1,000 litre IBC’s and Bulk.
